Workout Logs — Gym training log
Privacy Policy
Version 2.0 · effective 30 July 2026 · beta
Workout Logs is operated by Vu Duc Duong (contact: contact@liftmate.vn), the controller of your personal data. The app is built so your training log stays on your device: this version (v1) has no account, and none of your data is uploaded to any server. The app does DOWNLOAD the exercise catalogue and illustrations from our servers — one direction only, see “Network connections” below.
Your data stays on the device
All your workout logs, routines and notes are stored right on your phone. Logging and reviewing your history work fully offline; only the exercise illustrations need a connection the first time they are downloaded. Nothing uploads your training data to a server.
Network connections — what the app downloads and sends
The app connects to two of our servers: api.liftmate.vn for the exercise catalogue, and cdn.liftmate.vn for the illustrations. Both are DOWNLOAD only: none of your training data, notes or identifying information is sent, and these requests carry no account and no device identifier. The catalogue download happens as soon as the app opens, BEFORE you tap agree on the first screen, so the newest exercise list is ready for you. As with any Internet connection, your device’s IP address reaches the server; our catalogue server is located in Vietnam and does not record IP addresses in its logs. The illustrations are served through Cloudflare, a CDN provider outside Vietnam.
Sensitive data & consent
Your workout logs reflect your state of health, which makes them SENSITIVE personal data under Personal Data Protection Law No. 91/2025/QH15 and Decree No. 356/2025/NĐ-CP. The app only processes them after you consent on the first screen, where you also confirm you are 16 or older. Consent to share analytics is SEPARATE and OFF by default — the app works fully either way. We record when you consented and which version of the text you agreed to. Because the data stays on your device, you can delete all of it anytime in Settings.
Anonymous analytics (optional)
If you turn it on, the app sends anonymous behavioural stats that don't identify you (e.g. “a workout was logged”) — never your weight, measurements or any specific health value. Turn it off anytime in Settings.
Crash reporting
When analytics is on, the app also sends crash reports to help fix bugs. It shares the same consent switch as analytics; withdrawing consent turns both off. Crash reports do not contain your health values.
No third-party sharing
Your health data is never sold, shared or transferred to third parties. The optional anonymous analytics are behavioural events only and cannot identify you.
Your rights
You can export all your data to a JSON file anytime (free), back up and restore local files, delete all on-device data in Settings, and withdraw analytics consent. Because the data lives on your device, uninstalling the app also deletes it.
